Q: What challenges were you facing before implementing the EWG Connector?

A: At Fairway, transaction monitoring is a critical component of our AML responsibilities. Before adopting the EWG Connector, our team was required to manually download transaction data for each account every day and review the previous day's activity. This process was both time-consuming and inefficient. The manual nature of the work introduced delays and created opportunities for human error, impacting team productivity and limiting the speed at which information could be reviewed and reported on.

Q: How did you first learn about EWG's API and Alteryx Connector?

A: We've had a longstanding relationship with Dan Hare and the team at Continuum, and it was through this connection that we first became aware of the EWG Connector. Given our existing trust in their expertise, we were immediately interested in exploring the solution. As with any new integration, there was an element of caution initially, but any concerns were quickly addressed through clear communication and EWG's understanding of our operational requirements.

Q: What was the implementation process like?

A: The implementation process was refreshingly straightforward. EWG managed the setup of the required keys and permissions, and from there it simply involved a short call with our IT team to get everything up and running. One of the most impressive aspects of the solution was its accessibility. As a non-technical accountant, I was able to build and customise our workflow with ease. That speaks not only to the usability of the connector itself, but also to the quality of support provided by the EWG team throughout the process.

Q: What impact has the solution had on your operations?

A: Since implementing the EWG Connector, our transaction monitoring process has undergone a significant transformation. Tasks that previously took hours can now be completed in minutes, allowing our team to focus on higher-value activities rather than manual data collection and processing. We've seen clear improvements in both speed and accuracy, while our reporting capabilities have become more robust and timely.
